“We need to get Bella back into the dungeon,” Luca said the moment I stepped into my office. He was already seated and waiting for me to conclude my meeting.

“The profit has dropped by almost 80% and the patrons don’t even bid over 5,000 dollars. She messed up but if you’re not getting rid of her, why not put her back to work and get your money's worth from her body.”

“Hello to you too brother, I see you’re in a fine mood today,” I reply, unbuttoning my suit and rolling my sleeves to get to work. I had a stack of files that would put the Eiffel Tower to shame on my desk.

While it might be considered backward by most people, I preferred to run most of my transactions on paper. I got Enzo to keep a digital format and all but everything else was essentially on paper.

Computers had a way of doing away with the process, deleting all the errors, and the cancelations, presenting you with a clean pristine document to work with. I preferred a raw manuscript with the side notes and all.
