"Yeah. You are also a jerk and an asshole. I don't respect men like that!" She hissed through her teeth.

She gave him a negligent shrug and he growled. She could see a flash of his wolf in his eyes. His eyes were now a deep blue speckled with a light glow of gold.

She laughed loudly at him and he growled under his breath, his canines slowly turning prominent.

Of course, she was a little bit afraid that his wolf was taking over, but somehow she had this strong feeling in her gut that he wouldn't hurt her. The wolf wouldn't hurt her, either. Not in the way it would matter. Not like Colton, the murderous bastard had done.

He growled under his breath again and then she saw his eyes glowing. She saw his canines prodding over the lips. The sharp fangs gleamed in the glow of the chandeliers in the room.
