Mate. No. It was not possible. She had a mate and the mate was standing in front of her. How could she have another mate? That was... not unheard of, but that was so very rare.

Amelia shook her head. What the heck was going on here? Freya hadn't gone this crazy, even for Colton, not even during the first time around.

And why hadn't she met this 'mate' the first time around? She was in the same party and she had only met Colton. No one else.

'Calm down. It must be a false alarm. Think. Rational. This is not happening.' Amelia tried to placate Freya, but Freya was beyond any rational thoughts.

She was like a rabbit on heat... and she wanted, she wanted with aching need, to find this man. This mate of hers. And Amelia felt Freya's confusion, Freya's bewilderment, too, but beyond the confusion, Amelia knew Freya was ecstatic to have this... this new chance. This second chance
