CHAPTER 27

I stared at the photo of my mother and then looked at Lucas. I couldn’t stop thinking about that dream that I had of her as well. But then I shook it off.

“This is crazy. It had to be someone that looked just like her.” I said.

“She has the same eyes as you. Just not as bright.” He said.

“Maybe it was a relative of hers or something. It’s possible. I know that she wasn’t born in this pack and I’ve never met anyone from her side of the family. I had to be someone else that was a close relative. Maybe she’s got a sister or something.” I said.

“You’ve never met them?” He asked.

“No. Dad never mentioned them and I guess I was just never interested. This was my home and I never thought about it.” I said.

We were in the office working until late before I finally went up to my room to have a shower and I got some fresh clothes on. And it was really good to have a shower as well.
