Lila's POV.

"Your land is stunning," he commented as he looked around the area.

His whole body was tense as we drove through the pack gates. He gaped around, taking in the sights. He looked shocked and maybe in awe. He didn't relax until we left the main streets and drove through the little country lane that led to my house.1

"Being back in the countryside is amazing." I smiled to myself. "I hate the city... I don't like the noise and smells." I cringed, chuckling.

"I can't believe I used to live so close... I'm from Burscott." He murmured. I glanced at him and gasped. "We moved not long after the seer visited us." He whispered.

I sucked in a breath as my house came into view. Burscott isn't far from Clovelly at all. If he hadn't moved, I would have found him years ago.

I pulled up outside of my house and switched the engine off. I turned in my seat and took a long-winded breath. "I searched for you," I sighed.
