CHAPTER THIRTY ONE: CO-WORKER

It was five in the afternoon when he time out and the store finally closed. Camila and I waited on the near vacant bench They usually closed at nine in the evening. But he told us that they’ll be having a celebration of their store on the main branch. And he’s inviting us – also for formality as visitors and have purpose…we agreed. I looked around the area after we got out of the car he drove. Their branch was a few distance and I’m seeing the University from here.

“You didn’t change, Mila.” I heard him said to Camila as they converse behind me. I waited for them in front of the door but the guard immediately held open the glass door and greeted us. They both chuckle behind me and Camila is clearly keep on mentioning my name whenever they have topic to talk about.

“You’ll be schoolmates with Anne this upcoming semester,” she said and I stopped that made me finally hear their conversations and I assume joining them. “She wanted to have a work,” she added.
