“Why do you always stare at me? Do you want to say something?” Raymond asked without looking at her.

Jennifer shook her head and approached him.

“The meeting went well.”

“Hmm,” he hummed and blew smoke out of his mouth.

Jennifer stood before him, feeling an inexplicable urge to talk with this man about her life.

He looked at her. “What?”

Jennifer bit her lips to utter a word but was nervous.

“Do you want appreciation?” He asked.

“For what?”

“For the Pack meeting? Wait.”

He turned the wheelchair and went beside the bed. He opened the bedside drawer and took out his money bag. Jennifer saw him taking out a black card.

“Here.” He extended the card to her.

She frowned when she saw it was a credit card. What would she do with it?

“Take it.”

Jennifer did not move, nor did she take the card from him.

“You did well. I can see you are working hard. Take this and go shopping. Buy anything you want.”
