Jennifer stood up from the couch immediately.

“W-Why is he c-coming here?”

Everyone was surprised by her tone and reaction. Raymond was observing her expression with his sharp eyes.

“What happened, Jennifer?” Delta Brian asked.

Realizing her action, she gulped and sat down slowly. She tried to calm herself and asked,

“Nothing. How come the new Alpha was coming to our Pack? I mean, why so suddenly? I didn’t hear about this.”

Gamma Glen shook his head. “He wanted to come last week, but Raymond declined. However, today he reached out to Raymond, stating that he had something important to discuss, So Raymond told him to come tomorrow.”

Jennifer tightened her fists when she heard Nathan was coming to tell Raymond something.

What would he say to Raymond? Would he tell Raymond everything about her? About her identity?

Jennifer felt heavy in her chest. She tried to start a new life here. Why was her past coming to destroy her life?
