The next morning, Jennifer woke up alone in bed, feeling refreshed but still in disbelief over the previous night’s events. The kiss she shared with Raymond and his comforting embrace was vivid in her mind. Her thoughts wandered to her birthmark, worried he might have seen it during their intimate moment.
