Sighing, he went to the en-suite and got some Tylenol from the first aid kit. Swallowing the pills, he suddenly stiffened at the noise in the adjoining room.

Fucking shit. That almost gave him a heart attack.

Eton unlocked the door, pushed it open, and entered the room.

Kaia Kennedy was sitting on the bed, rubbing her stomach. She looked up, her eyes widening when she caught sight of him.

Otherwise, she didn’t even flinch. Vlad had been right about one thing: the girl wasn’t prone to useless hysterics.
