Nate’s POV

I arrived at the place and Layla was right there and I felt so sad seeing her tears that way, I failed her and her father so much, I am guilty of everything.

“Please stop crying, it breaks my heart when you do.” I bent down to wipe off her tears.

“Nate, are you following me?” She questioned rudely hitting my hands off.

“No, I am not, please Layla, I just want us to talk,” I said to her wishing she would hear me out.

“There is nothing to talk about Nate, I am out of here.” She stood up out of the rage flowing through her veins and got ready to leave, I just can’t let her go, I need to stop her so we can sort things out.

“Please, Layla, just hear me out, I beg of you.” I hugged her from behind and for a minute she was calm and didn’t argue further with me, guess this worked out, does that mean the feelings she has for me are very much active and have never faded?
