Nate’s POV

When I finally regained my senses, Layla was no more with me.

“Sir this is your bill.” The waiter said and I paid with my debit card, “Please, the lady with me just now, do you know where she went?”

“She left already.”

I picked up my phone and called Layla, she must be lying to me, she couldn’t be engaged, I didn’t believe her. Her number was out of reach, could it be that she blocked me already? She left her pulse on the table, I placed it in my car and locked the car. I just need to clear my head because everything didn’t go as planned, I am sad.
