AT THAT MOMENT, it seemed like a light bulb flashed in all their heads. The doctors immediately scurried away to get the samples of vervain and melted silver while the rest waited patiently.
"A genius, that's what you are," Diana praised Rudolph who grinned at her proud mother's face.
"Who do you think taught him everything he knows?" Robin boasted while ruffling Rudolph's messy curls with the latter scowling at the action.
Diana scoffed. "That's not how I remember it happening. If I recall correctly, Rudolph taught you everything you know about science.
What was it you were so good at again?" She paused as if she was thinking about it while giving Rudolph a look.

It took everything in her to keep her mind from wandering to the events of the previous day.A moment of weakness would have caused the greatest mistake of her life and she swore to herself that she would never let that happen again. To pretend she was fine when she was in a constant struggle to shut down and forget everything.The struggle was tiring and all she wanted was for someone to share the burden with her… but could she be that selfish to doom someone else?The sight of a bloodied Robin with bites and slashes all over him was the last push that tipped her over the edge. Immediately she was overwhelmed with so much anger, even more than she could bear.Anger at Doctor Young, at the humans and worst of all, anger at herself.
