CHAPTER EIGHTY-THREE

Diana

THE EERIE SOUND of the wind rustling in the empty field sent chills all over Diana's body. Her dreadful eyes took in the scene before her.

Bodies were littered on the ground before her. Buildings were all destroyed and no one but her was in sight for miles.

Suddenly, it began raining. The rain grew heavy, slashing against her body like a whip. The smell of blood was all over her.

She squinted her eyes to see clearly but the rain was blinding and it did not feel normal.

She raised her hand, turning it upside down allowing the rain to fall into her open palm. And, as she looked closer, it was not water but blood.

The sky was raining blood.

Diana lifted her foot to walk away from that place when she stepped on something… it felt like a hand. She looked down to see who or what it was.

The person's face was covered with curly ginger hair, coated with blood. She bent to push the face away but was shocked to see that it was Rudolph.

She let out a horrified scream, crawl
