CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED & EIGHT

Aiden

"THEY WILL BE bearing witness to their crimes themselves," Aiden said, walking up to sit on his throne.

"Lord Marcus, do you confess to killing the late King and Queen?" The Minister of Justice asked as he took the stand.

Lord Marcus looked up to Aiden whose countenance was calm but deadly.

Aiden had warned him the previous night, to confess his crimes, or Aiden would make his death the most brutal accident in the history of deaths. But the death of his wife and child would be even worse.

Lord Marcus looked back at the minister. "Yes, I plead guilty to all crimes."

The whispers became even louder at his confession. People could not believe that the man who the King trusted the most, his close friend, was the same person who killed him.

"The council would like to know how you did it," another minister said on behalf of the rest.

Then Lord Marcus went on to tell everyone how he killed the King and Queen in their chambers and made it look like it was done by rebels.
