Sia

"BETTER?" SIA ASKED, sitting by the edge of the river.

"Much better," Diana confirmed with a sigh, the cold water hitting her hot skin. "Join me?"

Sia shook her head. "If I have to try to stop you from running to your mate, and also prevent other wolves from getting to you, I would prefer not to be wet. Besides, I am a fire elemental, we don't do too well with water."

Diana sighed, sinking deeper into the water till only her head was out of the water.

"You think they have given up on looking for us by now?" Sia asked.

"No, I believe they should be on our tails by now," Diana responded, playing with the ripples around her.

"You are the only one with a tail, Diana," Sia reminded, and Diana rolled her eyes. "Also, if you know they are right behind us, why then are we not getting as far away from here as possible?"

"They should be on our tails– well, my tail and your behind–" Diana corrected, giving Sia another pointed look. "–but that doesn't mean they are."

Sia frowned.
