“What? Over a hundred thousand for a meal?” Exclaimed Julie looking at Scarlett and back at Joan. All she had was a house salad. How could this meal be that much?

“Regardless, it’s too much for you two. I don’t know what to do unless I’m allowed to go back home and retrieve it.”

“Cough, cough, maybe I can be of service.” Said Blake overhearing their conversation. “Gloria, is it? Just put it on my bill, and I’ll take care of it for them. Friends of my mother are my friends also.”

The three ladies were shocked by Blake’s announcement, and each had their own thoughts.

‘Blake, my savior. When I find that man, I’ll divorce his ass and come looking for you.’

‘Didn’t Julie say he was a good-for-nothing? How can he afford this price? What’s he hiding?’

‘What the hell? How can he afford this? Claire needs to get his money. Wait, maybe I can profit from this. I’ll ask him for some spending money.’

“Okay, here is the total bill, sir,” Gloria said when she returned from totaling the amount.
