Chapter 25

“Hello, excuse me,” I saw Landry’s head poking out of the door. My husband and I were doing some catching up and flirting with each other just like in the good old days.

“You’re excused,” Rich replied with a welcoming smile. I admired him all over again. For a second, the memories of everything he did to me washed away. Just for a second. I kept trying to hold on to that one string of hope that he actually loves me and is willing to change. Call it delusional if you want.

“My days doctor. I feel like shit,” I remarked which caused them to cackle loudly. “It’s pretty normal and should resolve in 24 hours,” he smiled back at me and he looked as pretty as always.

I could remember when I used to meet up with him anytime my husband was out cheating on me or even worse, inside cheating on me.
