"Then, I will trouble you two." Eira chuckled low-kay. "That's my girl." Amethysta hauled the latter and settled inside the car comfortably. Alaric shook his head unbelievably before hopping into the car. Mateo's eyes widened seeing Eira ignoring him and he knew, he deserved it.

After a few minutes of travel, they reached the cafe. Alaric sauntered into the cosy café with Eira and Amethysta, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee worked like magic. The girls were worn out, obvious on their faces. The trio settled down on the seat and huffed.

Amethysta sighed, "You won't believe how Dad's been lately. He's been ignoring me. Gosh I don't know how to coax him," She slumped her shoulder, totally clueless about what she should do to make her dad talk to her, but she couldn't come up with any idea.

Alaric raised an eyebrow, "I know things haven't been good lately, you should give him time. You know." Alaric didn't know who to side with. One is his friend and another one is his mentor.
