“Hello mate,” Silver said, wrapped around my waist tightly. I gulped. It was suddenly like I was drenched in icy water. My heart was beating fast, and I had no control over it. I wanted to teleport out of the room but I know I am too confused and out of control for that and besides, I don’t think I can run away from him forever.

“You had the guts to reject me and avoid me all these years, but when given the opportunity, you mark me without permission,” he said. I gulp, no words coming out of my mouth. He turned me around, but I avoided looking into his eyes.

“Where is the sassy queen? And why are you avoiding my eyes?” he said. I rub my cold palms together, then I look up, licking my lips.
