Surprisingly, the pack meeting had gone over very well. Many people approached me afterwards and apologized for ever believing the rumors. I could tell that they felt guilty for judging me based on my species, especially without giving me a chance to prove myself.

I did not want or need their guilt, but it did help me feel like perhaps we could make it past all of this bullshit. Hearing about those rumors brought all of my fears to the forefront about not being accepted in this pack and especially as his mate.

Jackson and I cooked up a plan on how to get Douchey Dexter taken care of. So, I had reached out to Ziyah to see if she would be willing to help me get my hands on some things, but she had already been ahead of me after seeing a vision and figuring out what all I would need. She was unable to bring them to me personally, but she said to expect my uncle to bring them over.
