MALIA'S POV

He didn't reply to my question, instead, he arched his brow and continued to gaze at me lazily like my words meant nothing to him. After a minute or two of awkward silence, he deemed it the perfect time to reply.

"What are you trying to insinuate?" He inquired instead of answering my question.

"Nothing. I just had this strong belief that you should be having breakfast with her and not wasting your time with me. Isn't she going to be offended when she finds out?" I tried to not hit the spot with what I meant, I just wanted to present my idea before him.

"I am still failing to understand the point you are trying to pass across here. I saved you and got you into my pack without having an in-depth knowledge of who you are, so of course I will need to spend some time with you to find that out"
