I was pulled into a conversation and was so engrossed in pretending to listen that I did not notice when Isla left the room. I looked around and saw Adelina was gone as well. I did not want to go into hyperactive mode and overthink the possible scenarios that could be playing out right now, so I kept my cool and got off the couch before I walked outside to see what was going on.
When I got outside, I looked left and right for them but could not see them in the immediate distance, so I decided to start walking in hopes that I would find them eventually.
