I do not think that Adelina has noticed my absence as yet. I mean, why would she? I have not been gone for long and there is little to no indication that something is going on. That is, unless she goes to the dungeon and notices that my parents were moved, and my father was fed water. Probably not smart on my part but I could not help it. I could not just leave my father to suffer as much as he did before he died. I had to do something. It was the least I could do for abandoning them.

I was finally out of the forest; I found my car and I immediately got drove out of the area. I knew to myself that I could not go home because Adelina would be expecting me to go there. I did not have any friends or family to turn to, so I was stuck. Maybe I could go to a hotel, but I did not have that kind of money. I worked off and on for Dimitri but never worked enough to actually get paid.
