Chapter 34

 A week had passed since the last time I had encountered Hayden. My work in the office had also been cut short and no, I hadn’t lost my job or anything. It was just that Hayden had left for Italy for a business trip, and with that, my work had fall short. I was yet to tell him what had happened inside that old man’s office. Even though that creep had given me only two days to give him an answer. I had still managed to evade him and attend my classes normally, with no threats whatsoever of being cut off. Maybe he was just bluffing, and I should not take it that seriously.

Trying to be positive and not let anxiety take over me, I decided to utilize this time to decorate and furnish my house and If I do say so myself, the house was coming out immaculate.
