Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View
I stood alone – at the center of the town as two familiar faces stood before me. The Stylynx brothers – my greatest nightmares.
“A woman from the slums… I reject a mate with no dignity – banish her this instant!” The spoiled son of the Stylynx pack announced as he stood beside his brother.
Shivers traveled up my spine as I kept my head down, “Great Alpha, please – let me live! I shall never show my face in front of you.”
However, I knew this situation all too well – no matter how much I beg – this man never fails to throw me out in every scenario. I would lose all that's left of me, and I would die every single time.
“Damn…” I was about to curse at him while I could, however –
“Damn bitch! Wake up!” I flinched as I felt cold water being thrown straight to my face. It’s another day in the slums, and the same old things happen repeatedly as if we are enclosed in a pathetic cycle.
I sigh as I stood on the cement floor, the bed I have been sleeping on for almost my whole life. The vile leaders of the slum continue to spray cold water as the sun was barely even up.
“Ugh,” people were groaning as they stirred awake.
I stood alone, the alleyway seemed to be getting narrower and narrower for me as I felt unusually insecure. I have a bad feeling about this day.
“The ship will arrive today, make sure you acquire the items undetected. You can’t fuck this up today, or else you’ll really die – but the blood won’t be on my hands,” I rolled my eyes.
The same exact threat is being repeated every single day, I’ve become immune to this at this point. No matter what he says, he’ll always have the blood on his hands.
A cycle wherein even my dreams are repeated, a prophetic dream of dying at the hands of the pack’s center of power.
After a while of standing around, they finally gave us our individual jobs – I was designated to take the goods from the ship.
The light blinded my eyes as I took a step outside of the gloomy slum – people were going by their day normally. “Hmm,” I hum as stepping out of the slums will always cheer me up.
People were carrying freshly bloomed flowers – young wolf children were playing around, the whole town smelled of morning dew and a combination of roses, perennials, and everything good. The town looked like a standard medieval town, however, a somewhat modernized one.
The insignia on my left arm started to sting, “Ah,” I hissed as I felt the familiar burning pain.
I knew what it meant, “Fine fine, I’ll do it quickly.”
Although all I wished for is a little more time in indulging with the peaceful environment of the privileged.
I ran towards the ship they mentioned, took the goods, and quickly handed it to them. We needed to move discreetly, everything we’re doing now is illegal – and being found as a slave could get you killed.
This is the reason why we wear severely torn clothes which, for some reason, are designed to fully cover the insignia they marked on us.
As I was walking away from the ship, I stopped – I’ve dreamed of something like this before, I sense a déjà vu.
I looked to my right, my eyes widened – my hands unconsciously gripped the box tighter. “Lady, out of the way!” I heard the man shout.
Instead of turning away, I extended my arm out to push the box out of my way. Even if my hands get fractured, nothing can be worse than death.
The man looked at me in awe – “Don’t look at me like that, I contemplated for a long time how to escape this type of death,” I said before walking to the town center again.
“Hail the youngest Alpha of our great pack, Maximus Vethor Stylynx!” I froze in my spot as I heard it, the name I’ve been dreading for my whole life. “The graceful Alpha Zonner Xuer Stylynx has also come to grant us an audience!”
The people were rejoicing, throwing flower petals onto the paths of the pack’s territory – the center of the pack was lit with radiance. Members from different walks of life were gathered as they await the youngest Alpha’s blessing.
“The goddess’ blessing…” I mumble – I’ve never seen anything like it nor do I have the chance of being bestowed of something like that.
“Fuck! I need to do this quickly,” I mutter to myself as I ran as fast as I could. I got so distracted by the happiness they were exuding, a complete opposite of the life I’ve been living.
How stupid could I be? There was a reason why people were carrying flowers, today is the youngest son of the Stylynx’s coming of age!
I was cursing myself all the way; my task hasn’t even been done halfway – it’s either I get beat up to the brink of death or I would starve for a whole month.
I tightly shut my eyes, “I’m going to die either way.”
“Well, at least, I need to try,” I bit my tongue sheepishly as I brought my hood all the way down – covering my entire face. I’m sure he wouldn’t even notice me… right?
I stopped dead in my tracks, I caught a whiff of a unique smell – something I can’t even begin to describe. It smells of sweet caramel and something else I can’t comprehend, a sweet smell luring me in with temptation.
I turned my head – and there he was, staring at me with curiosity in his eyes. My eyes widened, I knew it…
In my eyes, he was glowing with a turquoise accent – a glow only visible to each other.
“My mate,” I could see his mouth moving as he slightly stepped forward. I fancied the idea of getting near him, I was severely tempted.
“Fuck!” I muttered as I slapped myself – I closed my eyes and barred my nose from inhaling any more of the malicious scent he was exuding.
For the last time, I looked back – his eyes were still stuck on me. His brother was holding him back – I must not let them see my face, I can’t afford to die right now.
I shook my head, “Natashian, wake up!”
I ran away, however, unlike in my dreams – I wasn’t being chased by a mob of angry wolves. I ran into the slums – something I never did voluntarily.
I continued running away, reaching the deepest part of the forest, where I hide my elusive secret.
“I knew it – I knew this would happen.”
Third Person’s Point of View Maximus was stunned as he longed to see his mate’s face – he had waited his entire life for it. With the split eye contact they shared, he immediately knew his mate was of ethereal beauty. “No dirt on your face can hide the beauty you harbor,” he unknowingly muttered. He smelled her as well, saw her glow – he looked down to see her name. “Natashian Rynne Elboser,” he read – her name glowing on his right arm. “Brother?” Zonner, his most precious older brother became increasingly worried as Maximus stood still for far too long. Maximus staggered for a moment, before looking up to see the people anticipating his words. He looked on to see the lady has long since disappeared into the alleyways of the slum – which people do not dare to take even a single look into. “I can’t reveal this too soon,” he thought as he slightly shook his head to his brother. The event’s host caught on with the signal,
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of ViewFuck, as always, I was wrong – my life… has not gotten any better.“We finally found you,” the unnaturally big man hovered over me as his saliva was disgustingly getting everywhere.I was afraid, however, in situations like this – you must never show how intimidated you are. “What? Who the fuck are you?” I asked with my chin held high, my chest puffed up to somehow convince myself I’m strong enough to go against them. The guy turned around to scoff at the hooligans with him, then he turned to me – “Ha! Did you really think cutting your hair and disguising yourself as a man is enough to fool us?”“Fuck, I didn’t think they’d find me this fast,” I thought as I bit my lips in frustration. “I promise I’ll pay it back – seriously, I will this time!” I exclaimed as I put my hands togethe
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Nathan, make sure to fix the master’s bed properly,” Kimur nagged at me again – this buff guy turned out to be pretty soft inside. However, if you mess with his master – he’ll go berserk… quite literally.I hummed as I carried the new mattresses – it’s been quite fun here. Not only did I not see a single glimpse of the youngest Alpha, but Zonner was also extremely kind.He gave me an allowance, I have a hunch he knew I wasn’t getting a single penny from this job. He’s the nicest wolf I know, I just wish he was my mate…“Agh!” I slapped myself as these thoughts have been recurring to me lately. I shouldn’t even dream of it.“Nathan, you alright?” Mama Enah looked at me with concern in her eyes. Mama Enah is Kimur’s wife – they most often act lovey-dovey in front of me, they also s
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Nathan, hurry!” I could hear Yannah’s voice as she banged on my door. I quickly gulped down the pheromone inhibitor before fixing myself in the mirror.“I’m coming, geez,” I opened the door to see Yannah smiling in glee, there were several people behind her. I’m not liking the mischievous look on her face, she seems like she’s scheming for my end. Before I knew it, I was being dragged into a huge ass room – Master Zonner was already well-dressed and sitting on a couch with a gold-plated frame, and pure white cushion which looks like it could eat you up with its fluffiness.Master Zonner was wearing a pure white suit, which is pretty weird because they were supposed to hunt after this. The inside of his suit was a blue polo, he was also wearing blue jewel cuffs.Simple but stunning…“Make sure to dress him up well,”
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View The smell of barley spread across the room – clashing with the maple wood's scent. I'd never taken notice of these things, how ironic – I never thought I'd ever come to like this place. I slightly caress the dirty white sheets of the bed, "I hope I can come back here..." The belongings I had to pack were inside a barely filled bag – almost half of them the very needed pheromone inhibitors, bandage, and a single set of clothing. Before leaving the room, I left the steaming barley tea with a little letter next to it. Master Zonner's favorite blend was what I wanted to learn the most, however, I needed to uphold his dignity more than anything. At least what he lost was nothing significant... "Nathan, you're always welcome to come back here," Mama Enah grasped my sides as she checked me from head to toe. Yannah was beside her whilst Kimur was clearly behind a pillar. I could only smile as I nodded, "I'll definitely come back when I can." "Make
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View "Barley...," The familiar smell overwhelmed me, stirring me awake. My eyes could barely focus, perhaps it was the sleeping nerves in my brain – but I could feel an electric feeling run through my brain as I caught sight of a familiar figure. I sat up, the slightly damp towel I hadn't noticed was on my head flew across the room. I could barely contain my shock... "M-Master Zonner," I stuttered, still thinking I was in a dream. He smiled as he put down the cup he was holding, "You're awake? I heard from Yannah that Isaac was giving you a hard time, she was quite furious when she heard about it..." I merely looked down, I couldn’t hold myself back – I blacked out and the last thing I knew was that my fists were already kissing their cheeks. I always knew I wasn’t the strongest wolf around, however, making me furious will always be a bad decision. “I-I’ll apologize, I didn’t expect things to turn out the way they did,” I cowered even more, the
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View "Make sure you feel the flow," I nodded as I followed suit, closing my eyes as I focused on feeling the flow of mana. After Master Zonner asked to take me back, I was immediately pardoned and here I am – studying magic... as per Master Zonner's wishes. Although I can't complain, I'm still enjoying the lessons – in fact, it's what I look forward to these days. "You have great potential for a young werewolf, make sure to practice more," Mr. Kane suggested as he wrote some things down. I nodded as I stopped controlling the mana flow. Master Zonner immediately knew I had a weaker physical deposition in comparison to other wolves... Apparently, the wolves I beat up were the weakest trained wolves around – they said even the youngest Alpha at one year old could beat them up with his pinky finger. And I... fainted when I fought them. "Thank you for today, Mr. Kane," I escorted the teacher as he left the castle, he merely nodded as he rushed off.
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of ViewWith the greatest attire Yannah could find, I was basically adorned with more pieces of jewelry than my Master. I had to force Yannah to take it off of me.As our Master's signature color, I had to wear a white suit with a blue inner shirt. And to be clear, I am currently wearing zero jewels on me – knowing Master Zonner, he wouldn't grace a jewel to be in his presence, it'd just hurt the thing's pride."Must be tough," was the only thing Kumir could say as he left Yannah with me.Indeed, it was tough – I had to tell her Master Zonner would be a laughingstock at the banquet if they saw how his attendant had more jewels than him. Ugh... I shiver just thinking about it."Are you sure you don't want these?" Yannah asked with a sad expression on her face – as if she was thoroughly sad about me not entering the banquet looking like a jewelry store model."Yes... yes, I'm sure," I insisted as I looked away from her hard-to-resist face. And as if on cu
