Chapter 43

After dinner, Selena walked to her grandmother's place. She didn't know who to turn to. She didn't want to burden her brother Farell on such matters. She wouldn't want him to think she was taking advantage of him because he just showed her his warm side. She didn't want to lose a friend she just realised she had.

"Why did you come so late?" Her grandmother scolded her.

Alice knew how her daughter was being treated and she feared for Selena's life all her life.

" Grandma, I need help," she said, panting.

Her grandmother wasn't even surprised because everytime they always find someway to torture the poor girl.

"Who is torturing you this time?" She asked.

She was already in the kitchen microwaving food for her. She knew about the leftovers that they made her eat. But then she can't fight the Alpha for it.

"The Alpha King" she said like she wanted to cry.

The grandmother raised her brow, surprised. She didn't know what they might have told the Alpha King to make him join those th
