Pretty soon after we stop again, Calix turns to look at me.“Wait here, we won’t be longer than a few minutes.” Getting out they walk into the building, sitting I wait. We eat in silence for the rest of the food. It feels weird sitting here alone with him, but I guess he is right, I need to eat. Finishing I carry my plate through and begin washing it before putting it away.
