"Yelle is seeing someone?"

I was utterly stunned. Before she came to the U.S., we were all convinced she was here solely to pursue her career. We were certain she wouldn't find the time or even have the interest to date anyone. She had been so determined to make a name for herself.

"We didn't know about that," I added. "Yelle never mentioned him to us."

James nodded, a frown crossing his face. "To be honest, I'm quite disappointed in your sister. I thought she came here to focus on her career and make a name for herself. Yet, in just a few months, she's already found someone to date."

A sly grin crept across my lips. The jealousy in James's voice was unmistakable, far outweighing any hint of disappointment. I was almost certain he had a thing for my sister.
