Now I was too panicked to sleep, plus my mind was racing from thinking about who could have possibly been in my house.

As I lay on the ground, biting the acrylics off my fingernails, I went over the names of all my exes in my head. Also, all the men that I have turned down. But always came up short, there were none that I could think of.

But honestly, there was someone I could assume, even though I pushed their name to the back of my mind where it belonged.

I curled into a ball with my knees to my chest. There are plenty of people out there that would want to kill me. And for good reasons too, most are my father's rivals and ex business partners. The rest didn't matter, and shouldn't matter, because there was no way they could reach me.

Again I lay on my back, with my phone above my face, wondering who it could have been.
