Prologue: 6 Months Earlier

Abby:

"OK girl time to get on the road". I sighed as I looked around my studio apartment. This has been my home for the past 5 years. While I changed jobs more than I care to admit my home stayed the same. You see when I turned 18 and left the foster care system I was smart and already had money saved for that day. I already had a job and all I had to do was sign the papers on this place to make it mine. For what felt like the first time in my life everything was going good in my life.That was until a few months ago when everything fell apart at once.

You see life was all sunshine and rainbows until the day I caught my boyfriend in bed with my supposed to be best friend. They tried to talk their way out of it saying it was a one time mistake but I could care less about their reason. I walked away that day and haven't looked back since. Let me explain how this all came to be. I refused to sleep with Brent even though we had been together a year already. I maybe 23 years old but all I had that was mine to give was myself. And I refused to have that first time be with just anybody. And here is where my best friend Liz stepped in. She had been trying to sleep with Brent for months and since I was unwilling and she was clearly eager to give it up he took her to bed more than once. This just happened to be the time I seen it and caught them.

Not long after that drama I thought things could get better but I was so wrong. They only seemed to get worse. The bar I had been working at for the past few years was closing. So with no job my bills got behind and soon I had an eviction notice on my door. So I sold everything I could and took the 4,000 I made and decided to hit the road. So with nothing to lose i'm saying goodbye to my past today and looking forward to the future.

I was traveling for almost three weeks when I drove into Texas. After a few more days of driving and sleeping in my car I drove through Mission, TX and found this cute little town called Glory. After walking around here I decided this was where I was going to be staying for awhile. I pulled into Ruth's diner and after sitting in a booth I asked the waitress if she knew anyone hiring. She just so happened to be the owner and said her brother was looking for a bartender at his clubhouse. Apparently he was the president of the Disciples MC. She called him up and he told me to come over to discuss the job.Maybe my luck would be turning around now!

An hour later I pulled into the dirt lot of the MC and all you could see were motorcycles. My car would be standing out here for sure. I walked inside and told the girl who greeted me that I was here to see Maestro. I sat and the bar and waited. A few minutes later I was greeted by a man covered in tattoos and he just screamed danger. After Maestro and I were formally introduced to one another I had my interview and soon found myself taking the job. It was just a one month trial period to see if I could handle myself but if everything went good I would have a job for however long I wanted.

The next my new job began. After I got inside and set up everything at the bar Maestro came in. He brought a women with him. She was adorable and soon found out she was his ol' lady Robyn. After speaking to her I knew her and I would get along great. She was fiesty little thing and I knew she would give my some pointers on how to handle the guys here.

As the day went on I met more and more people from the club. Most got a drink said hi and left. One man came to the bar earlier today and he never left. He just sat staring at me and sipping his whiskey. He introduced himself as Dice. Robyn said he was the Vice Prez of the MC so I had to be as nice as I could be. I tried to not look in his direction but it was hard. Everytime one of the guys came to get a drink I felt his eyes on me. I really hope this would not last long. Hopefully he just thought I was a shiny new toy and the luster would wear off soon.

Dice:

Prez called me today and said he finally hired a new bartender. Music to my ears we couldn't keep all rotating at the bar we didn't know what we were doing! After I got off the phone with Maestro I showered and got dressed. Soon I was straddling my bike and driving to the club. Maestro said I had to meet the bartender and the sooner I got this over with the better!

20 minutes later I was pulling into the gates of the club. As soon as I walked in the door I was stuck in place. The bartender he hired wasn't a guy as I thought it would be. No he hired an angel to put back there. An angel that I would do anything in my power to get to know. She was beautiful with long curly hair that flowed down her back. She had the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen and don't get me started on those perfect full pink lips that I just wanted to nibble. Holy hell I need to get it together here.

After Maestro introduced us I found out my angel's name is Abby. As much as I said I needed to say hi and leave I wouldn't dare. I have been sitting on the bar stool for hours now and I couldn't care less. By the look Robyn gave me I'm sure she knows what I'm thinking. I don't care how long it takes I will claim this women. From the moment I laid eyes on her I knew I would do whatever it took to make her mine!
