Alice POV
She led me to a set of double doors. I resisted the urge to cover my ears from all her nagging and ranting about her father and how rude he is and about some boy at school. Gosh she’s such a drama queen. When we reach the door its pushed open and the most beautiful smell fills the air.

Without any hesitation I grab his arm and pull him to the closest empty room.

Luca POVWhen we arrived at the packhouse Aaron already had the angel healer waiting at the front door. He wouldn’t tell me anything about how she’s doing or let me back in the room with her. He told me he wouldn’t be able to concentrate on saving her if his alpha was breathing down his neck. She’s been back there for almost three hours now and not a single person has left. Alice POVAll I hear is well nothing, death is easy. Peaceful, I’ve always been afraid to die. I’ve always thought it would be painful and filled with regret and sadness. Do I regret anything? I regret not being there for Luca right now, he’s probably a blubbering mess right now. I regret well that's it honestly, I didn’t have much else going for me before I met him and the pack. Alice POV My head hurts more than it did when I first woke up! Luca hasn’t left my side since I woke up three days ago.
