Chapter 17
Reese sleeps through the day. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She hasn’t been feeding properly. She has to get her life on a regular schedule again. Luca has been problematic. She has to make a decision about him. She cannot let him be this way toward her. He has to either be with her or let her go.
When Reese gets out of bed she hears talking coming from her kitchen. Three voices are in her kitchen talking. She decides she needs to investigate.
She slips into her comfy slippers and walks into the kitchen. She stands in the doorway. Kat, Luca, and Roman are sitting together drinking.
“You guys look like you are having fun,” Reese says.
The three are extremely drunk. Roman who has the highest tolerance for alcohol is even drunk. “What are you three doing?” Reese asks.

Roman and Luca pull up to the R bar one hour after getting the text from Kat. “She is going to be pissed we came early,” Roman says.Luca doesn’t say anything. It takes Reese and Kat only days to put together the wedding. Reese and Kat bought everything in one shopping spree. Since they were using Luca’s house he took care of the decorations and caterer.Everyone from the studio and most of the Butterfly employees come. Reese wears a beautiful pale pink gown. Roman and Kat are gone for two weeks. It is complete agony for Reese. She feels all alone in the world. She continues working at the studio but avoids Luca. If he comes to the studio she leaves for lunch or says she has a meeting. She will only speak to him through email or texts and never on her personal phone.She finally breaks down and tells Kat and Roman what happened the night before they come home.
