“You have one minute left.” He reminded me with a grave tone that sprouted goosebumps from my body. I didn’t realize how much this will affect him until he threatened to pull the trigger on me. Xavier scoffed. “Of course, you do not have any reasonable excuse or explanation to give.” He grabbed another bottle of whiskey from the shelf.

“Hailey approached me for the first time in the restroom,” I explained. “I didn’t know who she was, at least not until I realized the door was locked from the other side possibly by her friend or partner. She asked questions about Rico but I played dumb.”

My eyes stung from the tears accumulated in them. I had to close my eyes for a bit, allowing the tears in my eyes to roll down my cheeks. Images of those pictures Hailey showed me flashed through my eyes and I quickly snapped them open.

“She showed me pictures,” I whispered, my eyes lost in my thought. “She showed me so many pictures.”

“What pictures?”
