The situation was quite intense for Chloe. She laid steel, not daring to move and heard a steady sigh close to her ear.

"You can go now." After a few moments, she heard his words again. This surprised her, however, she didn't have to tell again and immediately rolled off the bed.

"I will be leaving then." Murmuring those words she rushed out of the room without sparing a single glance at the man.

If she looked at him, she would have seen the amusement in his face. He already sensed her nervousness and let her go.

When Chloe entered Leonor's room with hasty steps, she sighed in relief. The little fellow is still sleeping.

Tiptoeing, she walked toward the bed and carefully tucked herself under the quilt beside the little guy. As usual, she wrapped her arms around him and lay peacefully.

There is still enough time to start their regular day. She could get some more sleep, this time without any tension.
