Chapter 32 : Fear VS you

My heartbeat stops as I press the brake. It better not be her car. It better not be. My eyes freeze in the direction of the car and my body stiffens. I push myself with the strength I have and storm out of the car, running across the streets when it's raining heavily.

It's Chrisanna's car!

I can clearly see her logo sprayed on the door. The next moment, I'm fighting heavy rain and wind while barging on the door. It's locked. And there's a huge branch of a tree that crashed on the front of her car, damaging the entire surface.

I hope she's not injured. My brain literally stops working as I bang on the door, and my voice barely comes out.

I press my ear against the door to hear anything from her. There's pure silence, enough to scare the hell out of me.

Then, she breathes. I can clearly hear her breathing heavily even though the sound of rainfall has made it nearly difficult to hear anything.
