Chapter 33 : Smooch!

Our lips connect, remaining steady in that position which is familiar to us since the wedding day. I take my time and catch my breath. Her lips are so soft and tempting that I have wished to not only get a smooch but truly kiss her the way she deserves to be kissed. Those precious lips need to be treated with all passion, affection and desires. And deep down, I'm scared I won't be able to do that.

We keep our lips connected— still in silence as I hear her soft breaths. She doesn't flinch, nor do I, as if one is waiting for another one to make the first move.

And I'll be doing it.

I part my lips against her and she sucks under her breath, sliding her arm around my neck and clinging onto me.

I shut my eyes and allow my heart to take power, turning off my sanity. My top lip is captured by her lips as soon as I can feel her bottom lip between mine.

My heart explodes with warmth, passion and longings as I wrap my arms tightly around her waist, trying to believe it's all real.
