7. An Anniversary Gift For Her

After hanging up the call, Haley switched off her phone.

Beside her, Andrew looked terrified, staring at her as if he was looking at an alien.

“Hey, is something on my face?” Haley joked.

But her brother laughed. “I never thought a day would come when you'll talk back at that man. You were literally begging him on your knees to acknowledge you.”
