65. Checking Results

"Adam!" Amber called while getting up from the chair. With a bright smile, she approached and sat on her lover's lap. “Look! Is it good?"

With high arched eyebrows, the man watched her expression. "Have you decided?"

"Yeah," Amber lifted her notebook closer to his eyes. “Come on! Take a look!”

A second later, Adam spread his admiration to the air. “A pendant?” he sighed in disbelief.

Smiling, the woman nodded. “Max and Julian have a pendant with their parents’ pictures in it. I think their children should have too. The pendant can be both a reminder and an encouragement.”

"Some kind of talisman?" Adam tilted his head.

"Yeah, some kind of lucky charm," Amber said with sparkling eyes. "So, what do you think?"

Adam spontaneously furrowed the eyebrows, pretending to rack his brain. When the expression on the woman's face turned worried, only then did he give her a smile. “It's a very good idea, Precious, and this sketch looks perfect.”

"Are you serious?" Amber's enthusiasm peaked
