Chapter 29 : New Branch Office

After coming home from a day’s work. Val cooked simple dinner after showering. She called Jack when she is ready to sleep.

“I thought you will forget about me” said Jack after picking up the call.

He had been waiting for hours for her call. He didn’t want to disturb her so he didn’t call her all day. Instead he resumed his work on his album.

Val rolled her eyes but immediately thought of his warning then waved that thought because he can’t see her now.

“I am so happy today” said Val and laid on the bed on her back.

“What made you happy?” asked Jack and stopped working.

“I will tell you when I meet you”. He always plays with her and irritate her a lot so she wanted to play with him now.

“Why wait that long? Can’t you say it now?” asked Jack. Are you serious baby? Playing hard to get huh?

“Nope” said Val turning on her front and playing with her fingers. She likes to plant her nails a lot. It’s been so long since she painted her nails so she took her nail kit out and started selecting
