She was getting ready for the anniversary party when her mother walked into the room with a paper bag.
“Honey this is for you,” she handed her the bag and sat down on her bed.
“Awww mommy! You bought me a dress and shoes. This is beautiful!” she exclaimed examined the clothes.
“No honey I didn’t get you these. A post man just delivered those and said they were for you. Maybe your man sent them for you,” she smugly smiled and Maya blushed deeply and tried to steady her beating heart.
It was pounding only one name.

“I will go change into this,” she told her mother who chortled at her.
“Go on! Afterall it came from the man of your dreams. Finally! God I thank you. Finally you have sent a good man for my darling daughter,” she cheerfully said.
