Chapter 37

The voice suddenly came back to her and instructed her to leave the room, and she realized she shouldn't have been there in the first place. What if she was discovered? What would she say she came to Din Cooper's room for, or what if Din Cooper himself met her there? What would she say to him to justify herself?

Jessie immediately placed the album in the cabinet and exited the room very fast, but she also didn't notice the framed portrait had dropped to the floor and broken.

Jessie was panicking on her bed at 6:11 a.m. when she heard the door open. Her blanket was slung over her head, and she prayed while clutching it closely. Din wouldn't notice anyone in his room while he was gone, she hoped. She had set up and left his room just as she had seen it. She hasn't gotten much sleep since she awoke at five a.m. to get some water and also entered Din's room.

Din had entered the house discreetly, closing the door behind him. He doesn't want to wake anyone up with his presence.
