Chapter 14

Desiree came running the moment she started. The children stayed in the room, plastered to the movie that was on. Derek was concerned his mom was screaming but Roland said it was best they wait. Tasrin did however get up and move to the door. He wanted to make sure his mom didn’t need any help. She was not to lift anything heavy though he knew he could only lift so much.

“Breath Avalon, I’m right here.” Desiree spoke as she held her. Looking over she was glad her son was standing there. “Tasrin I need one of the beds.”

“I got it mom.” He spoke as he made quick work and raced the bed out to them. The other two now at the door worried.

“Take your brother and cousin inside and turn the TV up. Do not come out unless I call our magic word.” Desiree spoke gently trying to not worry them. Tasrin knew what his mom was trying to say without having to say it and he did as he was asked. Desiree didn’t know how she was going to get Avalon to the bed but she had to. She had to get her laying comfo
