Richard couldn’t seem to let that memory off and kept emphasizing it.

It was no wonder his dreams of leaving home prompted him to build successful businesses.

Bella made Richard understand that she was an only child and that meant that she did most of the work at home.

“Washing plates was the least chore I did, so don’t complain,” she chided lovingly.

Bella and Richard ended up talking about their childhood and dwelling on those memories until someone came to knock on Richard’s door to remind him of dinner, putting an end to their wonderful conversation.

“I’m sorry, Babe. If I don’t join them for dinner, my mother will start crying again,” Richard announced.

The longing look in his gaze depicted just how much he hated to put the phone down during this interesting conversation, but there was not much choice left.

“That’s fine. Go ahead,” Bella urged him. As much as she would loved for them to chat on, she didn’t want to steal his family time away.
