“What?” Georgia looked shocked as she stared at him in disbelief. “What did you just say?” she asked again. “I ruin other people’s happiness?”

Richard stuffed his hands inside the front pockets of his pants and stepped closer. He maintained eye contact with her as he replied, “Am I wrong?”

Georgia felt a tremor wreck her lower lips while meeting his gaze. She was beyond speechless.

“You should actually find the time to sit and evaluate your entire life to see how many people you have made unhappy, and that includes yourself. When you are done, you can then choose to conclude if what I said about you was wrong.”

Richard clearly stated facts without batting an eye. He didn’t mind that this older sister of his was capable of birthing him, he only wanted to speak to her from his conscience, just the way it was.

“Perhaps…” Georgia looked like she wanted to say something but in the end, she glared at him before turning to walk away.
