Shifting Blames

The worst part about Gerald's condition was the fact that he wasn't allowed to make any calls apart from the one to his lawyers.

But how was he supposed to contact his lawyers and make them come when they were far back in LA?

Gerald was almost about to lose his mind.

It was the following day that Georgia was able to fly her lawyer down to Italy to take care of his mess, and also pay him a visit while at it.

Seeing how lean her son was, Georgia asked, "Can you give me one honest reason why you would do something as foolish as this?"

For a good minute, Gerald couldn't utter a word. He regretted his actions, but how could he spit those words out seeing what it had cost him?

"You are not going to say anything?" Georgia inquired with sorrowed brows. Lowering her tone, she added, "If I had known that this was what you had in mind, I would never have offered to help you. I would have stopped you."
