CHAPTER TEN | AND HE STILL DIDN'T FIRE ME

I nod my head and go straight to my chore. His table wasn't that dusty but the documents were dusty. I decided to give them a proper cleaning by dipping cleaning them with water and a rag so that the dust would go away.

Half way through the process, Tim walks in and I got startled. The bucket of water I placed on the table is hit by my hand and tilts to the side. Before I can blink, everything on Tim's table is soaked in water.

“What have you done?"

Apologies and explanations start pouring out of my mouth immediately. “I am so sorry, I didn't mean to…I only wanted to clean the documents since they were so dusty. I am really sorry. I swear on my life, I didn't mean to do it."

“I told you these are extremely important documents." He yells.

I flinch, fat tears dropping down my eyes. “I know, I didn't mean to. I only wanted to clean them."
