It sounded like a great idea so we did just that. There was no way to shake the shoppers who stopped in their tracks to stare so we ignored them. As best as we could, of course.

There were several clothes stores available and only two catered to men. We went to one of them, pushing open the glass door to open it. Several shoppers perused clothes, taking clothes in and out of racks.

I hadn't brought much clothes from WhiSare and what few I had I left at the guest house. The only other cloth I had was extremely dirty now I'm actually amazed I was able to keep wearing it while I was Octavius' prisoner. Phoenix had supplied the cloth I wore to the mall.

We walked to a section where a female attendant worked with a tall good-looking guy. She seemed to be having a hard dealing with him. Maybe he was an arrogant prat or maybe she was just tired. But that didn't seem to be the case when she turned around to see me and Kayla walking toward her.
