Sebastian drove off, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. Connor's words flashed in his head, "This is your fault, Sebastian. If you hadn't gotten involved with Erica, Mark would still be alive." He felt a surge of anger and frustration, slamming his fists on the steering wheel.

"Why did Mark have to snoop around? Why did he have to get involved in this?"

He pulled over to the side of the road, unable to focus on driving. He parked his car and leaned back in his seat, running his hands through his hair. His phone rang, breaking the silence. He hesitated for a moment before answering it.

"Hey, Luke," Sebastian said, his voice flat.

"Hey, man! Long time no talk! Where have you been?" Luke's voice was loud and cheerful, a stark contrast to Sebastian's somber mood.

Sebastian sighed, rubbing his face. "I've been around, Luke. Just dealing with some stuff."

"Stuff? What kind of stuff? You know I'm always here to listen, right?" Luke's tone was concerned, but Sebastian wasn't
