CHAPTER 48: The Last Ride.

Erica had finished her assignment and was preparing to go back to her dorm room. She wondered if Professor Sebastian was still in his office or he had gone home early.

She stood at the entrance of his office door. It turned out that Professor Sebastian was still in his office and was preparing to leave as well.

His watched showed 7:45 PM. It was already dark and the sun had gone down.

Sebastian looked surprised since he didn’t know that someone was at the door. He left his office and carried his briefcase and several bundle of scripts.

He opened the door to see Erica, smiling sheepishly.

“Erica? What are you doing here?”

“Hello, Professor. I just finished my assignment and studying, and I thought I’d drop by to let you know how much I appreciated your help today. I really enjoyed your class today.”

Sebastian smiled a little and then nodded, “It’s fine. I’m glad you did.”
